More than 70 students were recognized at the 2024 Market Business Honors Convocation held on Sunday, April 7th.
The 100th annual ceremony will recognize honorees from the Marquette School of Management and Graduate School of Business, Alpha Sigma New Jesuit Business Honorary Members, and Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honorary Inductees.
“The students who participated in this ceremony are among the most talented students in Marquette Business,” said Beth Clay, assistant dean of undergraduate programs. “Thanks to the dedication, passion and achievement of our students, Marquette Business has become a pillar of both the higher education industry and the local business community. We congratulate all of our award recipients on their outstanding work.”
Ten business students have become new members of Alpha Sigma Nu, an organization founded in Marquette in 1915 to honor a select number of students based on scholarship, loyalty and service. Alpha Sigma Nu identifies the most promising students in Jesuit schools, those who demonstrate intellectual awareness and commitment to the ideals of Jesuit education. Her selection to Alpha Sigmanu is one of the highest honors bestowed on Jesuit's campus.
Beta Gamma Sigma added 45 members to its ranks on Sunday. Founded in 1913, BGS is recognized as an international business honor society for the top 5% of business schools in the world.
