This summer, 32 Mystics games and a new magazine show will air on Monumental Sports Network
Washington DC (April 17, 2024) – of washington mystics and monumental sports network (MNMT) announced today that local fans will be able to watch 32 of the team's 40 games during the upcoming WNBA season on regional media platforms. The first game fans will be able to watch on Monumental Sports Network will be the team's season opener against the New York Liberty on Tuesday, May 14th. The remaining games will be broadcast nationally on CBS, ESPN and ION Television.
New this season, Monumental Sports Network will produce a Mystics-focused monthly magazine show featuring the best behind-the-scenes moments and off-the-court stories with players, staff and Mystics fans. MNMT is proud to be the leader in WNBA television broadcasts by continuing to offer Mystics game day programming.mystics pregame liveandmystic post game live– Provides informative team analysis and commentary on the network for 30 minutes before and after each game. In August 2022, Monumental Sports & Entertainment acquired full ownership of NBC Sports Washington from Comcast/NBCUniversal. The station will be rebranded to Monumental Sports Network in September 2023, with new programming. In November, Monumental Sports Network announced it would partner with several local universities to broadcast 50 men's and women's college basketball games on the network during the 2023-24 season. The network also provides live coverage of college football, college volleyball, men's and women's high school basketball, esports, and most recently this spring and summer, games between the Washington Spirit (NWSL) and Old Glory DC (Major League Rugby) announced plans to broadcast.
