The company's insurance business was very strong, but its railroad and utilities businesses were disappointing, he said. Buffett also mentioned Greg Abel, who will take over as the Oracle of Omaha, and said Abel is ready to become Berkshire's CEO “in every respect” as early as tomorrow. He said the company's insurance business had been extremely strong, but he was disappointed in its rail and utilities businesses.
Buffett also talked about Greg Abel, who will take over as the Oracle of Omaha.
He said Abel is ready “in every way” to become Berkshire's CEO as early as tomorrow.
