Rock Springs – Wednesday night's Downtown First Awards Ceremony recognized volunteers and businesses for their efforts to improve Downtown Rock Springs.
Awards were presented for Outstanding Downtown Business, Spirit of Downtown, Outstanding New Business, Better Rock Springs Beautification Award, Outstanding Individual and Outstanding Volunteer. The event was the 10th Annual Downtown First Awards Ceremony, and this year he received over 100 award nominations.
Studio Designs Floral and Co. received the Better Rock Springs Beautification Award. The business received the award for owner Nicole Martin's window displays that helped enliven K Street and add beauty to the downtown area.

Broadway Burger Station won the Outstanding Downtown Business Award as the restaurant has been a staple of Downtown Rock Springs for decades and an attraction for both residents and visitors to the city. .
The Rock Springs Library received the Spirit of Downtown Award because it partners with the Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Authority on nearly all activities. The library partners with Main Street to host the annual Snowman Walk, as well as other promotions and events held downtown.
Boa's Tusk Steakhouse received the Outstanding New Business Award, which is given to a business that is established or relocates to Downtown Rock Springs in 2023. Burback was recognized as a longtime volunteer with Her Streets of Maine, assisting with events such as Rod and Rehl's Car Show and Sweetwater Blues and Brews.
