The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian military has destroyed dozens of drones in several regions of the country.
The largest attack occurred in the Krasnodar region in southern Russia, targeting an oil refinery.
Ukrainian authorities reported new Russian airstrikes on the port city of Odesa.
The attack came as Russia held a controversial general election, with President Vladimir Putin's victory assured.
Vladimir Rogov, Russia's leader in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhya region, announced on Sunday that two Ukrainian drones had attacked a polling station and set fire to the building, but there were no casualties.
Earlier, Krasnodar authorities announced that 17 drones had been launched and neutralized at a refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, but one caused a fire when it fell.
No deaths were reported as a result of the fire, which has now been extinguished.
One person is believed to have died of a heart attack during the strike.
This is the sixth refinery attacked in Russia in the past week.
Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote in a telegram that four drones were shot down in different regions while flying towards the capital early on Sunday.
According to a Defense Ministry report, four drones were also intercepted in the Yaroslavl region north of Moscow.
Another area in western Belgorod, near northern Ukraine, is also under attack, the governor said.
Vyacheslav Gladkov said four drones dropped explosives on Oktyabrsky village, damaging electricity and gas supply lines. No casualties were reported.
Drone incidents were also reported in Kaluga, Oryol, Rostov and Kursk regions.
This is the second time Belgorod has come under attack this weekend.
On Saturday, authorities said at least two people were killed in Ukrainian shelling. Shops and schools were then closed as a safety measure.
Russian authorities also announced that two oil depots were attacked by Ukrainian drones in the Samara region of western Russia.
President Putin accused Ukraine of trying to thwart his plans for another six-year term. He will definitely win because he has no one to trust. Critics say the vote is neither free nor fair.
According to Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, 13 Iranian-made Shahid drones were shot down.
No injuries were reported, but the attack caused fires and destroyed buildings on two agricultural properties. The fire was later extinguished.
Another drone was shot down in the Mykolaiv region.
