NFL free agency begins Wednesday at 4pm ET. And if he was off the NFL grid for two days, that official start would be more exciting than it actually is.
The NFL's so-called legal tampering period began Monday, sparking a frenzy to lock up top free agents. By the start of Wednesday, 17 of Monday's top 25 free agents on Yahoo Sports had agreed to deals.
That doesn't mean free agency is over. The team still needs veteran help, and there are several viable options. Below are the top 10 free agents who have not yet agreed to a contract and are still available.
Fuller finished seventh among cornerbacks last season according to Pro Football Focus. There are concerns that the 29-year-old could fall, but he should make another big contract this offseason.
Brown has only had one 1,000-yard season in his five-year NFL career, and injuries have been an issue. he has talent. He was once a first-round draft pick. Some teams will bet on whether he can stay healthy and productive heading into his age-27 season.

At one point, Ridley looked like an elite receiver. That was before a bizarre 2021 in which he appeared in just five games with the Atlanta Falcons, a one-year gambling suspension in 2022, and a checkered 2023 with the Jaguars. He's still 29 and still going strong, but most of the sparkle is gone. Still, he had enough intrigue and upside to earn $92 million from Tennessee.
Williams was cut for salary cap reasons, and the Chargers had to be disappointed that Williams played in just 16 games over the past two seasons. But when off-Williams plays, he's a top performer. He was the No. 7 pick in the 2017 draft, has two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt, and is only 29 years old. Williams is coming back from his ACL injury, which will be a concern for some teams. But in a very thin receiver market, Williams' talent stands out.

Smith is a great performer when he is on the field. The problem is he hasn't played a full season since 2015 and he's 33 years old. He played in 13 games last season and perhaps his team will accept that. Availability is a big concern.
Consider Simmons one of the casualties of the Russell Wilson trade. The Broncos, who have a large dead cap burden with Wilson, are cutting Simmons to save $14.5 million on his salary cap. Simmons played in the Pro Bowl and was second-team All-Pro last season. He leads the NFL in interceptions heading into the 2022 season. Even though he's 30 years old, he can still be a very good safety.
The big-bodied Brown has been an excellent left tackle for years and still has plenty left in the tank. He could move to a team that has problems on the offensive line.
Mr. Baker should earn interest. He's a 27-year-old solid off-ball linebacker. He can play all three downs. He's not an impact player, but he's a good defender.
In 2022, Howard signed the richest contract for a cornerback in NFL history. He's 30 years old now, but he just had a less-than-stellar 2023 season and was released by the Dolphins. But he's a 2022 Pro Bowler, and good cornerbacks are hard to find.
10. Washington Commanders S Camren Karl
Karl was a seventh-round draft pick, but quickly broke into the Commanders' starting lineup as a rookie. In his four seasons with the team, he showed great all-round ability. The 25-year-old should be able to get a long-term contract.
