Courses in fine arts, music, design and performing arts, as well as courses in an interdisciplinary format: the Berlin Summer University of the Arts brings together all these elements. From June to October, more than 30 workshops will invite artists, upperclassmen, and graduates from all artistic disciplines to further develop their artistic practices, connect with international artists, and together create new opportunities for artistic exchange. Create space.
This year's theme Areas and interfaces The city of Berlin is the venue, area, and subject of artistic research. We trace the boundaries and boundaries of urban space, searching for the spaces in between, exploring ways to create new spaces and (re)occupy hitherto unaccounted for spaces. The possibilities for artistic dialogue with urban space are endless: tracing the transition zones of Berlin's train stations, exploring the possibilities of the city's many green spaces, or performing in the city streets. Please join us.
We are pleased to announce that the Rector of the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) has won five grants this year. scholarship This will cover the full cost of each course.
