Britain's Emma Raducanu put on a dominant performance against Linda Noskova to advance to the last eight against Iga Swiatek at the Stuttgart Open.
Raducanu needed 81 minutes to earn a straight victory, 6-0 7-5.
The 21-year-old will face world number one and defending champion Swiatek in the quarter-finals after Poland defeated Elise Mertens 6-3, 6-4.
Swiatek, who is unbeaten in nine games with Stuttgart, recorded a 2-0 win against Raducanu.
“It's a game where you have nothing to lose, just swing and enjoy it,” the Englishman said.
“We played in the quarters here two years ago, so it's exactly the same. I've come a long way in two years, I've grown a lot, and she's obviously achieved a lot. Did.”
Raducanu had an injury-plagued 2023 season in which he underwent wrist and ankle surgery and dropped to 303rd in the world rankings.
After Wednesday's win over three-time major champion Angelique Kerber, Raducanu continued her return to form with a solid performance against Noskova, limiting the Czech to just seven unforced errors.
The 2021 US Open champion saved two early break points and cruised through the first set in just 29 minutes.
After losing the first seven games, Noskova finally held serve and got on the scoreboard, tying the second set at 1-1.
But despite her improved service game, the Australian Open quarter-finalist did little to interfere with Raducanu's serve and ended the contest with the winning shot at 6-5.
“This is not my best. I still have a long way to go. I'm really happy that I'm starting to get paid on the court,” Raducanu said.
“Looking back at everything I went through after the U.S. Open and last year, when I was out for eight months with surgery, it gives me a new perspective. Playing in front of fans, playing good tennis, playing every match. There's nothing better than building on that.”
