Chiefs fans were celebrating their team's Super Bowl win before the shooting incident

Crowds of Kansas City Chiefs fans lined the streets of the city's downtown on Wednesday to join in a raucous celebration with the team that is back-to-back Super Bowl champions. This will be the team's third NFL championship celebration in the last five years.
But the mood of celebration soured after police said multiple people were shot and killed near Union Station after a pep rally with the team.
The parade began with Chiefs players filling double-decker buses and waving to fans as they drove around town. Some players didn't take long to exit their vehicles to walk the parade route, high-fiving fans and handing out drinks to those who had been waiting to cheer on the Chiefs all morning. there was.
