Shenzhen announced 24 measures to expand exports of advanced manufacturing and encourage enterprises to expand overseas markets.
Based on these measures, Shenzhen plans to expand automobile exports and auto parts exports. We will put even more effort into attracting automakers and dealers to build a global automobile sales and export base. In addition, in order to steadily expand used car exports, we will establish a comprehensive support service system from upstream to downstream, from used car export transactions to maintenance and testing.
The measures announced on Tuesday will support internationally renowned consumer goods, brand companies and supply chain service companies to establish regional headquarters, functional headquarters and independent legal institutions in Shenzhen. It will also support the settling of headquarters with import functions in Qianhai, such as the regional headquarters of multinational companies and the headquarters of private companies.
According to data, Shenzhen's foreign trade in 2023 reached 3.87 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.9% over the previous year. It ranked second among mainland Chinese cities. Specifically, export value increased by 12.5% to reach 2.46 trillion yuan, ranking first among mainland Chinese cities for 31 consecutive years.
