Warwick, Georgia — U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff is strengthening rural health care in southwest Georgia.
Today, Senator Ossoff announced federal resources to Crisp Regional Hospital to help build a new clinic facility in Warwick, Georgia. This project aims to reduce barriers to health care for families in rural Georgia and ensure they receive the life-saving care they need.
With this funding, Crisp Regional will expand its clinic from a previously abandoned bank teller building to a new clinic facility that is specifically designed as a medical delivery space and located on a high-traffic, easy-to-understand route. We are planning to move the operations of
Sen. Ossoff brought together Republicans and Democrats, working with Sen. Raphael Warnock to provide $580,000 for the project through this year's bipartisan government funding package.
In 2022, Senator Ossoff previously provided resources to expand the regional transportation program to Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordell.
