(Des Moines) As part of National Civic Learning Week (March 11-15), Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate announced a new project aimed at giving Iowa voters an up-close look at the Iowa voting process. Launched a video series.
This video series covers a variety of topics related to Iowa's election process, including voter registration, registration management, and absentee voting.
The launch of this video series is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that Iowans rely on the Iowa Secretary of State as a trusted source for all election information. In recent years, misinformation has increased and spread across social media and news sources. It is critical that Iowans understand Iowa's election process and remain vigilant for cases of false claims.
At launch, the video series includes 18 separate videos about Iowa's voting process. Additional videos covering Election Day and the counting process will be released soon. The video can be accessed at VotingProcess.Iowa.Gov.
