A website that features women-owned businesses in the Northwest and beyond has just launched a sponsorship program featuring Ukrainian female entrepreneurs.
SEATTLE — As Washington state consumers look for deals this holiday season, a Seattle-based e-commerce site is offering tips on how to shop online for women-owned businesses and families in war-torn Ukraine. We plan to continue offering new ways to support local female entrepreneurs. .
Kate Isler, CEO and co-founder of W Marketplace, said the site is a great option for shopping women-owned businesses and brands in Washington, the Pacific Northwest, and across the country. . This site features a holiday girlfriend gift guide.
In addition to browsing women-owned businesses across the country, Isler said they also have a global presence.
“W Marketplace is strengthening its e-commerce accelerator program and hosting a sponsored program to help Ukrainian women entrepreneurs sell their products on W Marketplace this holiday season,” Isler said. “Given our mission to be an economic powerhouse for women, we are working closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce to reach and support women entrepreneurs in Ukraine, market our products to them, and It has provided a market to continue supporting families, communities and countries during wartime.”

The company is starting a pilot this holiday season and plans to expand into the Ukrainian economy and other economies in 2024 to support women in business.
