Local businesses aiming for recovery
Construction crews are working to repair K St Kreative Studios, which was affected by recent storms.
“I almost swam. The water was up to my waist,” said Rob Harvey, co-owner of K St Kreative Studios. “I wouldn't be surprised if we lost $2.5 to $300,000.”
“We know these grants are set up to help people like us recover,” Ms Harvey added. “This is just a fraction of the funding we need to get the space back, so I think the more help we can get, the better.”
