As retail pharmacies close across Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties, Samaritan is working to fill the gap, opening two new stores in 2023 and one more in late 2024. It's planned.
The first new location opened in the Samaritan Athletic Medicine building at Oregon State University. The pharmacy provides a much-needed service on campus and is available to OSU students, faculty and staff as well as the general public.
Next to open was a pharmacy located inside the new Sweet Home Medical Center.
Another Samaritan pharmacy will open on the campus of Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, with completion targeted for the end of 2024.
Patients find Samaritan Pharmacy to provide excellent service and many convenient options.
Samaritan's Elm Street Pharmacy and Samaritan Pharmacy-Lebanon in Albany also have car windows. Samaritan Pharmacy Corvallis offers curbside delivery, and all Samaritan pharmacies offer free prescription mailing and home delivery.
In addition to filling prescriptions, Samaritan Pharmacy's services include vaccinations, medication management, sharps disposal, drug collection bins, and more. Pharmacists can prescribe birth control pills, naloxone, paxlobid, and emergency insulin replacements. The pharmacy also offers translation services for prescription labels, medication guides, and medication counseling.
Prescription refills are also convenient via the Samaritan MyChart patient portal, which allows refill requests from a personal computer or mobile app.
If you can't afford medication, Samaritan's Medication Assistance Program may help.
