On Christmas Day, Duchess Kate attended a service at St. Magdalene's Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, England, wearing head to toe royal blue. As in previous years, she walked to church with her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Greeting the assembled crowd and the cameras, Town & Country said, “She looked absolutely lovely for the occasion.”
Since then, the princess has not appeared in public.
Three weeks later, on January 17, Kensington Palace announced that Kate, 42, formerly known as Duchess Kate, had been admitted to a London clinic for “planned abdominal surgery.”
The surprising news about Kate's health was compounded by the fact that just an hour later the royal family announced that King Charles III, 75, would undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate next week. Two of the most senior members of the British royal family are currently undergoing health trials.
As news began to return to normal, King Charles was photographed being driven out of his Clarence House home on Wednesday, and he resumed some official duties, including a meeting with Chancellor Rishi Sunak. -Rumors about the Princess of Wales have begun to surface again. Prince William, 41, has also scaled back his royal duties while his wife recuperates, but this week he declined to attend the memorial service for his godfather, King Constantine of the Hellenes, scheduled for St George's Chapel in Windsor. In January 2023.
So while palace officials may have addressed the latest developments in this saga, perhaps trying to put a stop to the rumors, they didn't say anything else. A source told People magazine that the princess “remains in good spirits.”
Prince William's absence from the commemoration, and the reason given by the palace (an undisclosed personal matter), only fueled further speculation about Duchess Kate's health. Little is known about her medical procedures, leading to much speculation, concern, and conspiracy theories.
What kind of surgery did Duchess Kate undergo?
It remains a mystery to the public. Abdominal surgery can include anything from appendectomy to laparoscopy. On January 17, Kensington Palace announced that the surgery was a success. No details have been released about Duchess Kate's diagnosis or prognosis, other than to say that her condition is “not cancerous.”
The palace added: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement has generated. She hopes the public understands her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children.” and her desire to keep her personal medical information private.”
The palace issued a new statement at the end of the month, telling the public that Duchess Kate had been discharged from a London clinic.
Where is Kate Middleton?
at home, according to the statement. The palace announced that the princess will recuperate at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor Home Park following her discharge from hospital.
Her office added that she was “unlikely to return to official duties until after Easter”.
How is Kate's family?
Prince William visited his wife immediately after surgery and was photographed leaving the hospital. However, according to People magazine, Kate's three children did not see their mother at the hospital. This follows the London Clinic's visitor guidelines, which do not allow children or infants to visit. (Special requests must be approved by hospital staff.) Instead, the princess reportedly communicated with her children via FaceTime.
The Palace called the various conspiracy theories “utter nonsense.”
The lack of information about Duchess Kate has led to wild speculation about her health. A Spanish journalist named Concha Calleja claimed that she had spoken to royal officials. The source is believed to have told Ms Calleja that Kate was facing serious complications following the surgery and that she needed to take “drastic” action to save her life.
“The decision was to put her in a coma,” Calleja told Spanish news program Fiesta. “They had to intubate her girlfriend.”
In an initial statement, Kensington Palace said it would only provide updates about the princess if there was “significant new information to share.” However, the palace has responded by calling Calleja's claims “complete nonsense” and “ridiculous.”
