A University of Colorado Colorado Springs student has been arrested on suspicion of killing his roommate and a young woman in a double homicide in his dorm room, officials said.
Nicholas Jordan, 25, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of roommates Samuel Knopp and Celie Lane Montgomery, whose bodies were found shot to death Friday, Colorado Springs police said. It is said that they are receiving.
Police said Jordan, of Detroit, was found in his car early Monday and taken into custody without incident in Colorado Springs on Monday.

Montgomery, 26, of Pueblo, Colorado, and Knopp, 44, of Parker, Colorado, were found shot to death Friday morning.
Police said Knopp was a registered student at the school, but Montgomery was not currently registered.

Police said in a statement that the shooting was “an isolated incident between acquaintances and was not a random attack on the school or other students.”
Student Gibson Marable told ABC News that Knopf was “uplifting” and “probably the best musician on campus.”
“We are in shock as we process this tragic loss of two lives,” University President Jennifer Sobanet said at a press conference last week. “My heart breaks for the victims.”
