Position overview
Rhymesayers Entertainment is seeking an experienced e-commerce and logistics leader to join our label services team. This role is responsible for managing staff members and leading the performance and oversight of Limesayers' e-commerce and logistics operations, technology infrastructure, 3PL partners, forecasting, production schedules, fulfillment, customer service, and other operational activities. and play a major role. primary responsibilities
- Lead the e-commerce D2C and logistics verticals of the business, including 3PL performance, fulfillment demand planning, product forecasting, production delivery timelines, inventory lifecycle, customer service, data/analytics, and Techstack platform management.
- For logistics partners: Lead your team to set physical product order quantities globally by region, ensure sales one-sheets are completed, and logistics information is updated in campaign assets. And confirm that it has.
- Collaborate with RSE Marketing and Label Services teams to maximize sales by building retail relationships with top sellers by region around the world
- Collaborate with the RSE Marketing team to lead product launch strategy with appropriate customer targeting for new and seasonal products for all D2C and logistics campaigns, including seasonal sales and evergreen products.
- Manage the performance and execution of RSE's 3PL partners, retailers, and other business development opportunities in the e-commerce space to maximize efficiency, revenue, and net profit.
- Build and manage forecasting and financial models to measure the performance of your physical catalog along with all your physical D2C and distributed products.
- Manage forecasting and forecasting oversight with creative and label services teams to maximize catalog revenue and achieve target profit margins in line with Limesayer's pricing grid.
- Set and drive high standards as a strong communicator, product expert, and team player with a focus on quality, customer experience, and effective processes.
- Strategize and lead all aspects of discounting and catalog sales in collaboration with Finance, VP of Marketing and Label Services, and COO to ensure physical product availability and sales.
- Work with RSE CEO and Finance to negotiate terms with vendors and approve discounts and in-store sales. - Manage the implementation of appropriate technical infrastructure for RSE's webstore in collaboration with Rhymesayers Digital Production and E-Commerce.
- Direct and review work for the e-commerce and logistics label services team, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback.
- Build a data and analytics system that measures the product and inventory lifecycle of all RSE physical products by defining KPIs and mechanisms to measure the health of this industry.
- Oversee the customer experience through management of the label services team, including customer journey, direct-to-consumer packaging, shipping schedules and costs, and customer service processes and communications.
- Identify new business opportunities and influence innovation and process improvement efforts beyond current organizational thinking.
Desired skills and experience
- 7+ years of e-commerce leadership experience (experience in a leadership role is preferred, but comparable accomplishments demonstrating strong e-commerce skills and knowledge will also be considered.)
- Deep understanding of 3PL, D2C, sales and inventory management landscape and technology infrastructure.
- Expertise in Shopify Plus infrastructure, account management, and physical product forecasting to maximize revenue and net profit
- Project management experience including process development for cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge base and familiarity with global logistics operations and mechanisms
- Experience aggregating and analyzing data sets to make business decisions around performance.
- Proven ability to lead teams, set business segment goals, and create processes and efficiencies for scalability.
- Ability to model positive energy and cope with stress when faced with challenges, deadlines, and financial pressures.
