Grammy Award-winning rapper Eminem recently cut an ad for Crypto.com to promote blockchain to NBA fans. Here are his other 10 celebrity endorsements that prove the popularity of cryptocurrencies is accelerating.

Bloomberg called the partnership between a major cryptocurrency exchange, a hip-hop superstar and the NBA “a sign of a seismic shift in marketing and advertising efforts in the crypto industry.”
Six months after a New York jury convicted the founder of failed crypto exchange FTX in a fraud case, celebrity crypto endorsements are making a comeback in commercial advertising.
Here are 10 other celebrity endorsements over the years that demonstrate the extent of mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies since Bitcoin mined its first block on January 3, 2009 .
1. Elon Musk – Father of the Notorious Governor
For the passionate engineer and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, finance isn't all that interesting. In May 2020, he told Joe Rogan that finance is just about tracking money, but he's more interested in what we do with our resources to advance civilization.
However, Musk recognizes the important innovation that blockchain has created in the financial sector. In fact, he has been promoting Dogecoin since his first social media post in 2019. “Dogecoin might be my favorite cryptocurrency. So cool.”
