The Russellville City Schools Educational Foundation held its annual banquet on April 22 with a silent auction, dinner, entertainment, award presentations and a live auction.
Kyle Taylor received the Dan C. Hyndman Star Polisher Award. The award was created in memory of former RHS Principal Dan Hindman and recognizes the dedication of educators to the success of Russellville City Schools students. No matter what your students look like, Star Polisher polishes them into a bright, shining light for all to see.
Other honorees at the banquet included Gene and Frieda Ellison, and Ramona Robinson.

Founded in 2012, the Russellville City Schools Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization created for the sole purpose of providing educational opportunities to current and future students. The Foundation operates under the oversight of a Board of Directors that includes community leaders, system volunteers, alumni, educators, and business leaders.
