Sheffield United v Brighton, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports – play the Super 6 here!
Sheffield United have conceded 10 goals in their last two home games, five of which came against Brighton in the FA Cup. They have been conceding goals at an unprecedented rate this season, with their tally now at 60, the most of any team at this stage of the Premier League season. An average of 2.5 goals conceded per game means they are on the verge of conceding 95 goals this season, a new Premier League record in a 38-game season.
But here's the plot twist. I'm keen for them to get a result with Skybet on 11/8.
Brighton have kept just two clean sheets in the Premier League this season, but that number is far too short. He has won just four of his last 18 Premier League games and has won just one of his last six Premier League games against teams in the relegation zone, conceding 15 goals. Among them was one win and one loss against the Blades.
This is not the Brighton of last season, when their attacking power rivaled that of Manchester City. Their offensive power has fallen like a stone, and their defensive processes have taken a hit as well. Even in their 5-2 FA Cup win over the Blades, Brighton lost by 1.02 to 2.28 on expected goals without penalties. I'm not trying to upset you.
Score prediction: 3-2
Luton vs Manchester United, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports
Given Manchester United's near-perfect record away from home against teams who finished in the bottom 11 of the Premier League last season or are expected to be there again this season, Manchester United's chances in these types of matches are It's very difficult to counter. Since the start of last season, they have scored 40 of 48 points against such opponents and have conceded just eight goals in those 16 games.
But it's rarely visually appealing and convincing, meaning Luton are looking to cause United problems with their unique style. You can go to the street corner market and make profit from it. Rob Edwards' team look a great bet to get more corners than United with his Juicy 11/8 game on Sky Bet.
Regular readers will be well aware of how Luton's corner line has skyrocketed recently, winning more corners than their opponents in seven of their last eight games across all competitions. The total number of corners in these matches shows Luton 64 vs. 29 opponents. Pumpling.
United's lack of corners in away games against lower-ranked teams also gives them further confidence with Luton's corner win. In the past 15 games played away against lower-ranked sides, United have only won four corners and Manchester United have won 64-88 on aggregate. Additionally, only two of the 15 games resulted in six or more corner kicks. With the lines looking all wrong, there is great value in supporting Luton to get a corner count.
Score prediction: 1-2 | Jones knows best bet: Luton will win more corners than Manchester United (11/8 Sky Bet – Bet here!)
Everton vs Crystal Palace, Monday 8pm, live on Sky Sports
At the time of writing, there is still much unknown regarding Crystal Palace's team news and management. That makes it nearly impossible to put together a sensible and prudent forecast. If the likes of Marc Gehi, Michael Oliseh and Eberechi Eze are all absent and the manager's situation remains up in the air, Everton can claim a home win with Sky Bet at 7/10 However, if an announcement is made, Germany's Sky newspaper reports that former Eintracht player Oliver Glasner will take over as manager of Frankfurt, and everything will change. I'm going to leave it alone unless the image becomes clearer.
Score prediction: 2-0
