Achieve Miami, a nonprofit organization dedicated to equalizing educational opportunities for students across Miami-Dade County, partnered with global financial services firm Morgan Stanley to target 300 low-income students at high schools across Miami. Launch a new financial literacy program.
The program, which is starting now and will run through April, aims to advance Achieve Miami's mission of equalizing student achievement in every corner of Miami. Teach students the basics of personal finance.
The program includes three sessions at 10 schools in Miami-Dade County for a total of 30 financial literacy lessons. Led by Morgan Stanley employees, each class is structured around budgeting, savings, and credit, designed to teach fundamental lessons in financial literacy education to students as they prepare for high school graduation and adulthood.
