boy: Pajaro Valley Junior Isaac Ocampo Three records were broken in one day during the track and field winter time trial held at Pajaro Valley High School on February 24th. Ocampo won the boys long jump with a meet and school record of 20 feet, 11 inches, and took second in the 200-meter dash. He set a new school record for the meter dash with a time of 23.24 seconds. He also placed third in the 100-meter dash in 11.97 seconds.
girl:Monte Vista Christian Senior Keira Driscoll She had 12 goals and five assists in three games for the Mustangs women's lacrosse team, opening the regular season with a 2-1 record. Driscoll had a five-goal performance in MVC's 17-9 nonleague win over the Pioneers on March 1.
