NCAA Women's Basketball and Women in Sports Leadership will co-host the inaugural NCAA Women's Final Four Women's Sports Leadership VIP Summit on Thursday and Friday in Cleveland.
This event brings together powerful and influential women leaders in sports and business to:
- We will discuss how we can jointly leverage the momentum in women's sports to create further growth, attention, exposure and value for all women's sports.
- Identify ways to increase the number of women working and coaching in sports (male and female).
- Make connections across all areas of sport.
The two-day event will include think tank sessions and an open question-and-answer forum for Cleveland's Women's Final Four hopefuls, as well as several invite-only receptions and connection events centered around the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship. It will be done.
The think tank, exclusive to summit attendees, will be facilitated by Patti Phillips, CEO of Women Leaders in Sports. Two panel sessions will be open to the public on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. ET at Beyond the Baseline in Tournament Town and will include an opportunity for participants and local and national media to interview participants .
Women's sports executives representing all levels of sport in the country, including collegiate, amateur, and professional, were invited to participate and share ideas on issues and topics. The VIP Summit provides networking opportunities and a platform to champion the domestic women's sports ecosystem.
