The Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers saved us. From what? Rounds 1 to 7 in which not a single match was played. All other series in Round 1 ended without a winner-take-all contest, but the Magic and Cavs are hanging in there until the end.
Both teams are aiming to advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in several years. The Cavs haven't advanced to the second round since 2017-2018. However, the Magic haven't advanced to the second round since 2009-2010 and have been eliminated in the first round four times since then.
The Magic have an even higher mountain to climb today than the Cavs. They're playing the Cavs in Cleveland, and the home team not only has the advantage in general, but in this series in particular. All six games in this series were played by the home team.
Can the Magic beat the Cavs at home for the first time in this series? Can the Cavs beat a young and hungry Magic team? See all the Game 7 action here.

After a long period of success for the Magic, several consecutive calls went the Cavs' way. They were able to force Orlando out of the game with just over two minutes left in the first half. Cleveland is shooting 22% so far (0 of 8 from 3). A big reason why Orlando opened up a big lead early in the second quarter. Banchero's strong start is also one of the reasons.
Paolo Banchero sank a 3-pointer to extend the Magic's lead. Despite being a visiting team, they look very comfortable.
