Naver, South Korea's largest internet portal, is entering the cutthroat e-commerce market with its own ultra-fast delivery service in the capital region.
The company announced Thursday that the same-day delivery service it launched on Monday will continue to operate on Sundays.
Daily necessities such as tissues, diapers, and perishables will be delivered on the same day if ordered by 11am. If delivery is not completed on the specified date, you will receive 1,000 Naver Pay points that can be used when purchasing items through Naver Pay.
If you order on Saturday, you may receive your order on Sunday depending on the item.
The portal giant said it will partially fund sellers' free exchanges and refunds insurance plan starting May 22, allowing sellers to offer free exchanges and refunds at no additional cost. .
Since e-commerce giant Coupang raised WOW's paid membership fee by 58.1 percent to 7,890 won ($5.74) per month last week, other platforms have been aggressively rolling out promotions to attract users.
Naver offers a three-month free trial of its paid membership service called Naver Plus. Valid until May 31st. This membership offers benefits ranging from more loyalty points to discounts for users who purchase or book through Naver Plus. In addition to the portal site, we also offer discounts on digital content from streaming services Tving and Naver Webtoon.
Additionally, until July 15th, the company will be distributing a 3,500 won shipping discount coupon to all subscribers for every purchase of 10,000 won or more using the same-day delivery service.
