Business owners in metro Atlanta are desperately seeking relief at their mailboxes as delays at a newly opened mail distribution center are hurting business.
This delay is impacting mail delivery across Georgia.

He said some customers expect him to receive their orders the same day they order.
You may also pay an additional fee for expedited or overnight shipping.
And that hasn't happened because the new distribution facility hasn't been able to maintain adequate service, and some customers are demanding refunds.
“I take orders every day, but they don't get scanned until 2-3 days later. And it doesn't matter if you pay expedited rate or overnight rate. So what I'm most upset about is… There are customers who are expecting their package the next day, but two days later it's still showing as 'waiting for pickup',” said Fahad Pathan.
Congress this week stepped in to question the federal postmaster general.
He said there were challenges in opening a new distribution center in Palmetto, including administrative, truck scheduling and mechanical difficulties.
He expects to return to normal operating standards within 60 days.
