MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Behavioral Health Department is working with Mind Springs Health to ease access to health care in the Grand Valley.
The Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Behavioral Health issued a $300,000 grant thanks to Senate Bill 22-196. This grant focuses on early intervention and prevention in the criminal justice system and aims to stabilize and support at-risk adults through improved intervention strategies.
With this agreement, Mind Springs Health will join the Multi-Agency Collaboration (MAC) and serve as a single entry point for community case management.
We are grateful for the support of the 196 Grant. This allows us to expand our reach, deepen our impact and provide critical behavioral support to people in need. The agreement with Mind Springs represents our continued commitment to strengthening access to behavioral and mental health services.
