The launch of this campaign integrates the colors and patterns of the Maryland state flag and the Seven Stars to celebrate Maryland's rich heritage as the seventh state to enter the Union on April 28, 1788. This coincides with the release of SBE's new logo. The circular pattern in the logo symbolizes: The interaction between SBE, government, and the people of Maryland and the cyclical nature of the democratic process. The words Verified, Open, Trusted, Empowering (VOTE) highlight SBE's commitment to open and transparent election processes in Maryland.
of Please vote! The campaign will be implemented in three phases through various communication channels. The voter registration phase will encourage unregistered Marylanders to register to vote, including sending them messages about registration deadlines and how to vote. Residents who are not registered to vote can register to vote using the online registration system.
If you do not wish to register to vote online, please print the registration form (English and Spanish versions) and submit it to your local elections board office.
Residents can also register to vote in person during early voting and on Election Day.
The “How to Vote” phase will increase awareness of all voting methods: voting by mail/drop box and voting in person during early voting and on Election Day.
The final phase of our 2024 primary voter education campaign will encourage voting and raise awareness about early voting and Election Day on May 14th.
