The e-commerce company has signed a lease for a massive building at Silos in Merrillville's Saunders Farm Business Park.
A 1,000,000 sqft warehouse is located on a lot of 79 acres. The property is part of Crow Holdings' 195-acre silo at Saunders Farm Business Park. The park has 20 acres remaining for development.
Avison Young arranged the lease on behalf of developer Crow Holdings. Crow Holdings was represented by Adam Hefner, Marty Mikaitis and Zeke Rowan of Avison Young's Chicago office. The new tenant was represented by Ryan O'Leary of KBC Advisors.
“Growth in this submarket continues to attract occupiers of all sizes,” Hefner said in a press release. “This is an important win for Merrillville and the Northwest Indiana region, and we are excited to continue our partnership with Crow Holdings to meet the growing demand for industrial space.”
The warehouse will serve as a new home for the e-commerce company, reinvigorating the local commercial scene.
