Charleston, West Virginia – You're just days away from securing your spot at this year's Minority Business Expo, which will be held at the Lanson Civic Center on Thursday, April 4, 2024. The event is sponsored by the Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs (HHOMA) and connects minorities and women business owners. and veterans.
“This expo not only fosters business growth in West Virginia, but also focuses on engaging historically marginalized communities,” said Jill Upson, executive director of HHOMA. He said: “It is imperative that women, veterans, young entrepreneurs, and all underserved West Virginians take an active role in the business formation and licensing process and make significant contributions to our state’s economic development.”
Governor Jim Justice also spoke about this year's Minority Business Expo.
At his last administration update briefing.Registration for attendees and exhibitors must be done online by Monday, April 1st. Admission is free for nonprofit organizations and state agencies and $50 for all other vendors.
