Two of the biggest names in women's basketball met Monday night in Albany, New York, with a spot in the Final Four on the line.
This year's matchup between Iowa State's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese will take place earlier than last year, when they competed for the national championship.
LSU won the tournament, and Clark had been aiming for the title ever since his record-setting senior year.
If Iowa loses, it will be Clark, an All-Star, his final game as a college athlete before entering the WNBA Draft.
The winner will face either the USC Trojans or the Connecticut Huskies. That game begins Monday at 9pm ET.
The third-seeded Huskies are expected to narrowly clinch the final spot in the Final Four, with Action Network pegging them as three-point favorites over top-seeded USC.
Undefeated No. 1 seed South Carolina State and No. 3 seed North Carolina State have already clinched their tickets to the semifinal round on Sunday and will meet on Friday at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.
The women's NCAA Championship Game will be held Sunday at 7 p.m., also at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and will feature the winner of each Final Four matchup.
