Actor Karisma Kapoor was one of the speakers at the India Conference held at Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. On Monday, Karisma took to Instagram to express his happiness at getting the opportunity to share his views at a session titled 'Soft Power of Bollywood' held at the prestigious institute. One X user criticized Harvard University for inviting Karisma, who is not even an alumnus, to its research institute, but other X users rushed to Karisma's rescue. Fans defend charisma
One X user shared a photo of Karisma at Harvard University and wrote, “Harvard standard who called Karisma Kapoor a speaker (eye roll emoji), a Bollywood actress who isn't even an alumnus (eye roll emoji) )” he wrote. However, another user defended Charisma by commenting: “Ignorant Bewfkoof aurat (stupid woman)!” You may be interested to know that Harvard University offers a prestigious degree program known as “Art, Film, and Visual Studies.” This information is provided to address your knowledge gaps. ”
Another user posted: “Since when did graduation equal wisdom?” Why do women bash other women? (Laughing tears emoji) Jealous? A third user echoed this idea and said, “Knowledge is much more important than certificates and degrees. She was far ahead of her time compared to other actresses at the time she was active in Bollywood. #KarishmaKapoor,” he commented.
“Yet she became a top actress. Education is not the only path to skill, ability, and success,” another user wrote. One user also wrote, “She's been a successful actress for a long time and people with business degrees are usually employees somewhere.”

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Karisma will be seen in the upcoming series 'Brown'. Directed by Abhinay Deo of Delhi Belly fame, Brown is based on Rita Brown, a suicidal alcoholic, and Arjun Sinha, a widower with survivor's guilt. The protagonists must deal with an unstoppable serial killer on the loose. Karisma also has director Homi Adajania's next film 'Mubarak Murders' alongside Sara Ali Khan.
