E-commerce site management:
Ensure all product listings, descriptions and prices are accurate and attractive. Update inventory and efficiently manage product assortment. Apply critical thinking to solve challenges, demonstrating independence and a proactive approach in dealing with problems.
Manage your budgets and sales reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis
Partner with Press & Marketing to coordinate global and local communications plans including website graphics, email marketing, social media content, etc.
Ensuring superior customer service and a solutions-based approach to customer communications
Ensuring e-commerce operational and sales expectations are met
Showroom Management and Sales:
Coordinate all showroom appointments. Maintain a clean and presentable showroom at all times. Work with partners to organize and schedule events throughout the year to drive brand awareness and sales.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communications, meetings and networking events.
Understand the importance of great customer experience and building relationships
Serve as the customer's main point of contact, responding to inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Anticipate customer needs, foster customer loyalty, and generate sales revenue from existing and potential customers
Requires sound business judgment and ability to spot trends
Storage, delivery and inventory management
Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms. Experience with Shopify or Squarespace is a must.
Advanced knowledge of retail and merchandising concepts
Very strong analytical skills and inventory management experience
Dynamic and flexible, able to adapt to ever-changing environments
Social media and content creation experience preferred
Flexible working hours available, including evenings and weekends (during events)
Timing: Position available immediately: Part-time (20-30 hours per week), starting wage $30-40 per hour, with potential to expand to full-time in early 2025. Travel to and from Rhinebeck will be required in June and July 2024 to manage the move of inventory and operations to NYC.
