Edmonds-Woodway beats Cedarcrest 9-0
Sophomore Finn Crawford pitched a complete game with a one-hit shutout, another dominant performance on the mound for the Warriors. Crawford struck out seven Red Wolves batters while allowing only one hit and two walks.
While Crawford was stopping Cedarcrest from scoring, the Escandon brothers were doing their part to make sure the Warriors had all the offensive power they needed. Senior Diego Escandon went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base. His younger brother, sophomore Cruz Escandon, went 2-for-4 with two hits, two RBIs and two stolen bases.
Lucas Wanke reached base four times, scored a run, had an RBI, and stole two bases. Luke Borland and Thomas Schultz also contributed with two RBIs each.
Edmonds-Woodway improved its Wesco 3A South record to 5-0, capping off a week in which it allowed only two total home runs to opponents in three games.

Meadowdale wins 2-0 over Mountlake Terrace
The Meadowdale Mavericks defeated the Mountlake Terrace Hawks 2-0, with junior Tristan Dodds pitching a three-hit shutout victory and junior Nicholas Zardis scoring the only run of the game.
Dodds struck out four Hawks batters while allowing only three hits and two walks. The Mavericks scored two runs in the top of the third inning on Zardis' base hit that hit Nolan Webster and Maliki Emery-Henderson.
The Mavericks remained undefeated against Wesco 3A South, improving to 3-0 with the win. The Hawks recorded their first loss in the league this season with two wins and one loss. Both teams will conclude their back-to-back at Meadowdale on Monday, April 1st.First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
