Women's Public Health Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who provide comprehensive health care to women from adolescence to adulthood. WHNP specializes in providing comprehensive women's health services, including gynecological, obstetric, and sexual and reproductive health care.
The MSN-WHNP program offers the flexibility of online coursework while allowing students to apply concepts learned in educational courses to real-world, direct patient care in prescriptive clinical settings. The University also offers a clinical guidance process, backed by the Helsing MSN Clinical Placement Pledge, which helps students secure clinical placements.
Upon completion of the degree program, graduates will be eligible to take the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) exam offered by the National Certification Council (NCC), further enhancing their qualifications and career opportunities.
