Massachusetts-based Heavenly Spirits is launching an online purchasing option to expand distribution in the United States.
Heavenly Spirits' soon-to-launch e-commerce platform will provide a convenient way to explore and purchase products from the company's portfolio and will be easily accessible across most states in the US.
The company introduced the new purchasing options in response to an expected increase in online sales across the United States.
The platform allows users to browse products available for shipping in each state.
“As the industry changes, we do our best to change with it. We frequently get calls from consumers across the country wanting to purchase our spirits, but due to the three-tiered alcohol distribution system, we've been unable to sell to them directly,” said Daniel Cooney, co-owner of Heavenly Spirits.
“As e-commerce began to develop and thrive, we realized it was an option we had to consider to meet the demand for our products. Working with our e-commerce partners allows us to ship almost anywhere in the U.S. without affecting our regular distribution relationships.”
Initially, the website will offer around 50 different products, with more to be added in the future.
The company has partnered with a Burbank alcohol delivery company for this operation in California and plans to continue to have regular delivery partners in more than 40 states.
Heavenly Spirits was founded in 2008 in Lakeville, Massachusetts by Christine and Daniel Cooney.
The company specializes in importing French spirits, including Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados and whiskey, to the United States.
The online brand catalogue, which is currently accessible, includes Normandin Mercier cognacs, Bastille 1789 and Armorique whiskies, Kiki Vendée aperitifs and Le Batelleur ready-to-drink cocktails.
