As for soccer, there is only one event this weekend, with the Rock Springs Tigers scheduled to take on Riverton. The men's game begins at 3 p.m., and the women's game begins immediately thereafter. Rock Springs has 2 wins and 1 loss in conference play this year for both the boys and girls. For Riverton, both teams are undefeated in conference play this year, with one win for the boys and one tie for the girls.
TRN Media reached out to RSHS girls soccer coach Braxton Rosette to ask about the team, which is 4-1 overall so far this year.
I think this team plays very well together. They are very selfish and feed off of each other's success. They work hard and encourage each other to get better every day. They are a great group of kids.
