Former Oregon State star Regan Beers is transferring to Oklahoma State. The junior forward announced his decision via social media on Monday.

Oregon State (27-8) finished fourth in the Pac-12 and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament, but ultimately lost to South Carolina in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
During his two seasons in Corvallis, Beers won Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and Sixth Person of the Year awards and was named to the conference's All-Freshman team. She was also named third team All-American by the Associated Press during her sophomore year and was named to two all-conference teams.
But with the Pac-12 disbanding and the women's basketball program joining the WCC for a two-year affiliated membership, eight Oregon State players entered the transfer portal after last season. Earlier Monday, guard Talia von Olhoffen announced her transfer to USC.
“Now it's time to enter the next chapter of my life and career,” Beals said. Video posted on X. “I learned from a young age that you have to work hard at everything. I learned the importance of loving the process, and that process has led me here. I love the game and competing. It's a place that emphasizes the importance of loving Oklahoma.
Beers also considered transferring to UW.
The Colorado native finished his second season of eligibility with the Sooners, who made three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and won their second consecutive Big 12 regular season title under head coach Jenny Baranczyk. I will have it. If the Sooners move to the SEC, Oklahoma State will face similar competition from LSU and South Carolina.
Beers joins a roster that includes Skylar Bunn, a 2024 All-American and both Big 12 Players of the Year. The senior forward averaged 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds last season. Junior guard Peyton Verhulst also returns after a season in which he averaged 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and four assists after transferring from Louisville. And freshman Sahara Williams averaged 9.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
