Wyoming HS State Wrestling: The Wyoming High School Wrestling Tournament begins today at noon in Casper.
The winner of the first round match will finish the day's work and return tomorrow morning.
Those who lose in the first round must wrestle again in Wrestleback, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Sheridan boys are the defending 4A state champions, and the Sheridan girls placed third last year in their first year of Wyoming girls varsity wrestling.
Sheridan High School Basketball: Tomorrow is the final regular season home game and senior night between the Sheridan Broncs and the Lady Broncs.
The women's game ends at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game.
The No. 1 seed in the Northeast quadrant is on a line between the Bronx and Mustangs.
As for the Lady Broncs, they are already locked into the Northeast No. 2 seed, so there aren't too many stakes in the game.
Sheridan will host the 4A East Regional Tournament, which begins one week from today.
Tongue River, Big Horn, Arvada-Clearmont Basketball: Regional basketball tournaments begin today in Class 2A and Class 1A.
The Arvada-Clearmont girls team will face Rock River in Laramie at noon in the first round of the 1A East Regional Tournament.
The 2A East Regional Tournament will be held in Burns, but for today it will also be held in Pine Bluffs.
At 4 p.m., the Tan River girls will take on Lusk in PB, while the Bighorn girls will take on Burns, the defending 2A state champion, at the same time.
At 7 p.m., the TR boys will take on Burns and the BH boys will take on defending 2A state champion Pine Bluffs.

Sheridan HS Nordic Ski: The state tournament will be held tomorrow and Saturday at Casper Mountain.
Sheridan County High School Indoor Track and Field: All three Sheridan County teams will have their final tune-up meeting today in Gillette.
Sheridan head coach Taylor Kelting said the weather for the indoor season has been the opposite for the most part from last year's outdoor season, and so far no one has complained.
The Wyoming High School Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held in Gillette next weekend.
Sheridan High School player Turner Reynolds signs with NLI to play soccer in England: The 2024 Wyoming high school football season hasn't started yet, but the Sheridan High School senior is hoping to learn a more competitive style of football overseas.
Turner Reynolds has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the I2I International Football Academy while attending Leeds Beckett University in England.
He is primarily used as a defender in the Bronx and hopes to earn a degree in business or sports management through the classes he will take.
Reynolds added that he wants to learn how to play a tougher style of football that is not typically played in the United States.
Practice for Wyoming's high school football season can begin on March 4th, and Sheridan will play its first game on March 15th.
University of Wyoming Basketball: Last night, the Wyoming Cowgirls held an eight-point lead with just over three minutes remaining in a home game against No. 1 UNLV.
The game went into overtime, with the Lady Running Rebels scoring the first five points and gaining momentum, with UC eventually losing 63-60.
The two most impressive stats were UNLV's 31-16 win in the bench scoring battle, while UNLV found a way to get to the free throw line by going 13 of 18 from the charity stripe. There were only three brown and gold pieces. 6.
Emily Melema scored 14 points for Wyoming, and McKinley Dickerson came off the bench to score 14 points of his own.
Allison Fertig had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The Cowgirls are currently 14-11 on the season and 9-5 in the Mountain West Conference.
A girls and boys home doubleheader will be played this Saturday in Laramie.
The Cowgirls will play New Mexico State at 2 p.m., then the Cowboys will face Boise State at 5:30 p.m.
Sheridan Hawks Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks have four games left in the regular season and are mathematically still alive for the last playoff spot in the division, but they are not in control of their own destiny.
Rapid City and Great Falls are both above the Hawks in the standings, and the big question is that a three-game series begins tonight when both teams play in Rapid City.
There has to be a winner, so Sheridan needs to win its remaining four games, and Great Falls also needs to win two of three games in Rapid City, but not all three. And Gillette needs to beat Rapid City twice next weekend. Butte Great beat his Falls twice and examined all tiebreakers.
The Hawks play in Butte tomorrow and Saturday.
Colorado Rockies preseason baseball: The Colorado Rockies' exhibition season begins tomorrow.
The team will play a home game against Arizona at its spring training facility starting at 1:10 p.m. Mountain Time.
