North Fort Myers High School Class of 1974 plans 50th reunion
North Fort Myers High School's Class of 1974 announced plans for its 50th anniversary reunion.
The Memorial Committee will hold a tour of North Fort Myers High School on Friday, April 26th at 2:30 p.m. Brooks Restaurant, 4450 Hancock Bridge Parkway in North, April 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A meetup is also planned in Fort Myers.
The dinner will be held at Ter-Tini's, 1901 Crystal Drive, Fort Myers, on Saturday, April 27th from 6-10 p.m.

Capobianco named to the University of Manchester's Dean's List
NORTH MANCHESTER, IN — The University of Manchester recognized Cape Coral native Nathan Capobianco, who was named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List for his academic achievements.
Ms. Capobianco was one of 386 students named to the Fall 2023 Dean’s List. Mr. Capobianco is studying sports management.
Undergraduate students are included on the Dean's List if they have a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher, complete at least 12 semester hours, and have a pass/fail rating of 3 hours or less.

Masic receives a degree in education from Wilkes University.
WILKES-BARRE, PA — Tanya Masic of Cape Coral earned her master's degree in education from Wilkes University. This degree was one of 339 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees awarded to winter graduates.

FGCU Scholarship Offered
The 27th Annual Paul Sands Memorial Slow Dog Invitational Golf Tournament and major sponsor Rockstar Harley-Davidson have donated $35,000 to Florida Gulf Coast University's Paul Sands Memorial – REIS Scholarship Program. This program provides scholarships to outstanding students pursuing degrees in real estate, finance, engineering, and construction management. The presentation was made at the Real Estate Investment Association's Feb. 13 luncheon.
Each scholarship provides $2,500 for tuition and books. These scholars will also receive her one-year honorary membership in REIS and will be able to attend the conference free of charge.
The Real Estate Investment Association along with FGCU established a permanent scholarship fund in 1999 with a $10,000 gift. In 2011, the scholarship was named the “Paul Sands Memorial – REIS Scholarship'' in memory of REIS member and Governor Paul Sands. A portion of the proceeds from the annual Paul His Sons Memorial Slow Dog Invitational Golf Tournament is added to the scholarship fund. REIS also established his REIS Scholarship Foundation in 2006, his non-profit 501(c)3 registered corporation, which provides the opportunity to make charitable donations. REIS operates a foundation and 100% of donations are awarded as scholarships.
