After unveiling a new logo earlier this month, European Aquatics (formerly LEN) unveiled its strategic plan for the remaining 10 years and announced the creation of a new academy on Tuesday.
The Strategic Plan, European Swimming Academy presentation and Swimming Social Responsibility Program were submitted to the European Swimming Authority on March 23 in Antalya, Turkey, along with the approval of the 2024 budget.
The strategic plan serves as a roadmap for the organization from 2024 to 2030, with focus areas on accessibility, drowning prevention, and promotion of all aquatics disciplines.
This strategic plan follows in the footsteps of the four pillars originally established by the President. antonio silva When he is elected in February 2022.
Silvas was unanimously re-elected in January after being cleared of the ethics allegations that led to his dismissal as president of the Portuguese Swimming Federation.

The Academy will serve as an education and development hub, with coaching certification courses and more at the forefront of its mission.
European Aquatics said it will appoint a project manager to help design the academy accreditation system, create the curriculum and develop educational content to get the program up and running.
Fisheries Social Responsibility Charter
Aquatics' Charter of Social Responsibility is a “key part” of its strategic plan, which aims to address sustainability and socio-economic issues around the world.
This is in line with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted in 2015 and has 17 development goals.
European Aquatics outlines three main objectives. It's about accessibility for all regardless of social background, promoting physical and mental health, talking about water and reducing our carbon footprint.
