New e-commerce platform Shoppedia aims to hit around 1 million users by September, one of the first major milestones in the company's roadmap to becoming the top marketplace platform in the country.
Shoppedia CEO Neil Raas told the Inquirer last week that to date the company has more than 10,000 registered users on its website, and that he expects that number to grow significantly once the app is officially launched around September.
“With Shoppedia, what you see is what you get,” he said at an event at the Manila Heritage Hotel, where the company previewed the latest version of its app.

La-as, which describes itself as a 100% Filipino-owned company, said it thoroughly vets each of its sales partners to ensure they do not distribute counterfeit products on its online platform.
“All Shoppedia sellers undergo a rigorous vetting process to ensure legitimate consumers receive authentic products and real value for their hard-earned money,” La As said in his speech at the event.
“No more counterfeits and shady sellers, just pure, unadulterated, pure Filipino quality,” he added.
It also added that it has customer service staff available around the clock to answer consumer complaints and other concerns.
“Shoppedia offers 24/7 access to live agents to handle any queries or concerns,” La-as said, adding that the company aims to make customer experience on the platform seamless, stress-free and enjoyable.
