The world has been abuzz with Duchess Kate and her “missing” conspiracy theories since she underwent abdominal surgery in January. From rumors of her marriage feud to royal scandals, even editorial missteps seem to add to the constant chatter about the royal family. Now, Duchess Kate has finally addressed her absence from the St. Patrick's Day parade for the first time in seven years in a short statement.
Kate releases statement on St. Patrick's Day
Today, all updates from the Princess of Wales, no matter how small, are kept with the utmost care. On March 17, the Royals' official Instagram handle uploaded a small video of British soldiers speaking together in small clips about the significance of the day. The page, run by the Prince and Princess of Wales, also released a short statement. “Have a happy St. Patrick's Day! Here are the Irish Guards rehearsing for their annual parade. Slainte to everyone who celebrated today!” it read.

The video and statement came a day after several reports suggested the princess might address health concerns as expectations mounted. However, the report also states that she intends to do so at the appropriate time and that the royal family is currently in no hurry.
When will Duchess Kate return to royal duties?
A previous statement from Kensington Palace said the Duchess of Cambridge would return to royal duties after Easter. This was done after she underwent abdominal surgery in January, and the Palace announced that the surgery was successful. Kate has not been seen in public since. Sources close to both Duchess Kate and Prince William say more details about her medical condition will be revealed in the coming weeks. Sources told The Sunday Times that Kate is expected to return from April 17.
A source told the paper: “The Princess is most open when interacting with the public in public, and we can see the world in which the princess talks about restoring her engagement.'' If she's going to do it, she'll do it. ”

The issue of Kate's disappearance further escalated on Mother's Day when the palace released a family photo of Duchess Kate and her three children. However, things changed when photo agencies around the world issued a “kill” notice saying the portrait was fake and heavily altered. After the doctored photos started circulating, Kate took full responsibility for her actions and apologized.
