NDHS Spirit Days
Here are the remaining dates for Spirit North Dorchester High School on Friday: May 3rd, University Day. May 10th, Twin Teacher's Day. May 17th, Senior Day. May 24th, NDHS/USA Day. May 31st, Twins Day. June 7th, Tie Dye Day. And June 14th, a tropical day.
NDMS Formal Dance
North Dorchester Middle School's 8th grade formal dance, “Walk on the Red Carpet,” will be held in the NDMS gymnasium on June 1 from 7-9 p.m. There will also be a DJ, food, and a photo booth.
Ticket sales began on April 15th. Available for purchase at the NDMS office for $5.
FAFSA deadline
The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) wants to increase the number of students who complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the May 15 state priority deadline.
It is important for Maryland high school students to submit their 2024-25 FAFSA form as soon as possible. state financial aid from the information they provide federal government FAFSA form. MHEC annually provides more than $130 million in state financial aid to approximately 65,000 students to attend college.
According to the National College Attainment Network, as of March 22, 2024, only 36.8% of Maryland high school seniors had filed the FAFSA. The priority filing deadline for FAFSA applications has been extended from March 15th to May 15th. However, students should complete and submit the form as soon as possible to be eligible for state financial aid.

apprenticeship program
Cambridge South Dorchester High School is committed to creating a fair and collaborative process for the Maryland Youth Apprenticeship Program. Administrators ask all students interested in this program to complete the MD Youth Apprenticeship Interest Form.

All Chesapeake math students have access to math tutoring.
Y Mills:
Monday to Thursday: 9am to 6pm
Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-ins are based on instructor availability.
Drop-in math tutoring is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
From 4pm to 8pm
Online individual instruction is available by reservation.
Friday to Saturday: Closed
Sunday: 1pm to 5pm

North Dorchester Middle School
MCAP Test Dates – RELA MATH Grades 6-8: April 29th – May 4th.Social Studies MCAP Grade 8 only May 6th – May 9th
Parents are asked to talk with their children about taking the MCAP seriously, completing all written instructions, putting down cell phones, and not interrupting the test. This not only affects individual children, but also other children. Many students were unable to reach the next score level because they did not attempt the written portion.
