Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) and Chino Valley High School (CVHS) continue their efforts to prepare students for both college and the workforce through more than 20 career training areas offered through the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program .
To promote this program, CVHS will host a CTE Information Night. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the CVHS Gym from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM.. Events are open to the community.
CTE provides students with the academic knowledge and practical skills needed to enter skilled career fields such as culinary arts, biosciences, sports medicine, cyber security, and digital animation. Most programs offer professional certifications, Yavapai College credits, and some offer Yavapai College certificates free of charge to students and families.
“Registration is coming soon,” said CVHS Assistant Brian Pereira. Principal and CTE Director. “We want CVHS students and their families to be prepared and ready to go as soon as registration opens.”
