The second season of “Crypto: The Game” completed its public mint today within 15 minutes of its launch, with 800 players signing up to take part in the next installment of the popular on-chain game. The NFTs required to play the game were sold for 0.1 ETH each, contributing to a prize pot size of over $263,000 at current prices.
The second season of the on-chain survival game will run on a layer 2 blockchain network incubated by cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, as long as players mint participatory NFTs on Base using ETH bridged to Base. It is built on a certain Base.
