TikTok Shop, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), hosted Camp Asenso, a two-day event aimed at equipping micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the skills to thrive in the digital age.
The program provided comprehensive training on how to navigate a TikTok shop and valuable lessons for small businesses to leverage the power of e-commerce and livestreaming to grow their business.
Trade Undersecretary Cristina Roque highlighted the importance of digitalization to Philippine businesses and the potential of Camp Ascenso to equip small and medium-sized enterprises with the skills they need to achieve sustained growth and success.
The program was attended by approximately 400 TikTok Shop merchants. The event also featured presentations by successful brands such as Casi's Mushroom Chicharon and Tiny Buds, who shared their experiences using TikTok Shops to expand their reach and grow their business.

We will continue to roll out initiatives to help small businesses succeed through initiatives like education programs, enhanced seller support and campaigns,” she said.
