Owen Farrell kicked a late penalty as Saracens scored a big goal in the Premiership title race to take advantage of a physically intense game and beat Bath to move into second place.
Tom Parton crossed first for Saracens and Rotimi Segun added a second try in a first half that was well controlled by the visitors.
However, after the break, the hosts' bench made an impact with tries from substitutes Thomas du Toit and Cameron Redpath leveling the score, and the pendulum swung in the direction of Bath.
However, Farrell's penalty with three minutes remaining ensured victory for Saracens, who moved one point ahead of Bath in the table.
