Arch Manning opts out of EA Sports' college football video game

Over 10,000 college football players have opted in to participate in EA Sports College Football 25, but there is one player who will not be participating in the game.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning has reportedly opted out of appearing in video games. Anwar Richardson of the Orange Bloodsto focus on his development on the field.

All 134 FBS teams will have 85-man rosters, and players who opt into the game will receive $600 and a free copy of the game.

Manning won't play in the game, but the quarterback he backed up last season will.

Quinn Ewers announced on social media that he will be playing in the highly anticipated college football game.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe also announced that he has agreed to participate in the game.

The popular video game series ceased production after the release of NCAA Football 2014 in 2013 amid heated debate over student-athletes being compensated for the use of their names, images and likenesses.
